I needed to convert a BNC connection from a computer in another room to RJ45, and put it on my NetGear Router. Of all the elements I researched, this was the one that appeared to meet my needs. This is an excellent converter .... it amazes me that other (well known) brand names are so overly priced ... save yourself from literally paying twice the price for a competitors media converter.
